"A subdivision to be laid out after December 21, 1996 shall be provided <br /> with water as follows: (2) water mains and hydrants installed to and within the subdivision <br /> in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Department of Water Supply. <br /> The current DWS rules, Section 4-3 Installations Within Developments, prescribe the "size <br /> of water mains shall be as follows: <br /> (b) For developments in agricultural district zoned for densities greater than <br /> one (1) acre in lot size, the main size shall be capable of delivering water for <br /> domestic use at adequate pressure and volume under peak-flow conditions. • <br /> The minimum main size shall be four inches (4")". <br /> Since our proposed subdivision would allow for 3 acre minimum lots, and the existing County <br /> road, Hao Street, has a 4"waterline, we concluded that adequate service is already available. . <br /> EXHIBIT <br /> !
