The amendment is <br /> as follows: <br /> From: <br /> 010.3308.95 Federal Grants—Improve Forensic Services General $ 26,048 <br /> To: <br /> 010.201.5216.47 Improve Forensic Services General $ 26,048 <br /> The State Department of the Attorney General Crime Prevention and Justice Assistance Division is <br /> providing a grant to improve and enhance the quality of its forensic science services. These funds will <br /> be used to train laboratory personnel and to purchase equipment to assist in gathering and processing <br /> forensic evidence. <br /> Pursuant to Section 46-7, Hawai`i Revised Statutes, County departments must obtain the consent of the <br /> Council to enter into agreements with the Federal or State governments respecting action to be taken <br /> pursuant to any powers granted by law to furnish, expend, and receive any funds or other assistance <br /> connection with projects being or to be undertaken pursuant to those powers. <br /> There was no discussion on this measure. <br /> FC Report No. 7 <br />
