FC -7 Page 2 March 27, 2013 Comm. 182: AMENDS ORDINANCE NO. 12 -87, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO PUBLIC (Bill 45) IMPROVEMENTS AND FINANCING THEREOF FOR THE FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, 2012 TO JUNE 30, 2013 From Council Member Brenda J. Ford, dated March 7, 2013. Adds the Parks and Recreation, Ocean View Park & Ride Bus Lot (Land, Street Light, and Bus Shelter) project for $94,000 to the Capital Budget. Funds shall be provided from General Obligation Bonds, Capital Projects Fund -Fund Balance and /or Other Sources ($94,000). The funds will be used to purchase property for a permanent bus station and park and ride location, and design and construction of the facility and placement of a street light. Comm. 184: ADOPTS A PAY PLAN FOR PERSONS EMPLOYED BY THE COUNTY OTHER (Bill 46) THAN THOSE WHOSE PAY IS OTHERWISE PROVIDED FOR, DESIGNATING PAYROLL PERIODS, PAY DAYS, PRESCRIBING REQUIREMENTS WITH RESPECT TO OFFICIAL FIDELITY BONDS, AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 12 -84 AND ALL AMENDMENTS THERETO, SAID ORDINANCE TO BE KNOWN AS THE SALARY ORDINANCE OF 2013 From Finance Director Nancy Crawford, dated March 8, 2013. Amends Section 2. Payroll periods; pay days; fractional computation, where new language regarding the June 30th payroll lag implemented in July 2012 was included. No adjustments were made to salaries. Comm. 188: REQUESTS THAT THE MAYOR AUTHORIZE THE DIRECTOR OF FINANCE (Res. 85 -13) TO ENTER INTO NEGOTIATIONS FOR THE ACQUISITION OF A PARCEL TMK: 9- 2- 185:049 IN THE AHUPUA`A OF KAHUKU, KA`U From Council Member Brenda J. Authorizes the Finance Director to initiate any funding mechanisms required for the acquisition of this parcel to be used for a Ocean View Park & Ride location and bus station. Comm. 197: AUTHORIZES THE PAYMENT OF FUNDS OF A LATER FISCAL YEAR (Res. 86 -13) AND OF MORE THAN ONE FISCAL YEAR FOR A MULTI -YEAR LEASE FOR ONE (1) MULTI- FUNCTION COPIER FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION From Finance Director Nancy Crawford, dated March 8, 2013. The Department of Parks and Recreation wishes to enter into a five -year lease for a multi- function copier to be used by the Coordinated Services for Elderly section at the Aging and Disability Resource Center.
