Chapter III provides a brief overview of the current situation in all aspects of the county <br /> solid waste management system. The chapter includes available data projections through <br /> <br /> yeaz 2020. <br /> Chapter IV establishes goals and objectives relative to completing, sustaining, and <br /> <br /> replicating the Kea`au model. <br /> Chapter V describes in detail the completed Kea`au model, as shaped by experiences and <br /> <br /> lessons learned from the pilot project and by public input. It covers physical facilities, <br /> customer base, staffing, materials collected, markets for materials collected, linkages to <br /> community needs, operations policies and standards, and disaster mitigation measures. <br /> Chapter VI is an action plan for completing and sustaining the Kea`au model; integrating <br /> <br /> the model into the County solid waste management system; and adapting and replicating <br /> <br /> the model island-wide. Chapter VI builds upon and synthesizes material in the previous <br /> five chapters. <br /> 5 <br /> <br />
