This certificate is furnished in compliance with Chapter 19, Article <br /> 11, Section 19-90(d) of the Hawaii County Code, as amended. <br /> The total value of net taxable real property is $23,542,277,844. This amount is <br /> $14,708,938 higher than the previous year. It represents a 0.06 percent increase <br /> compared to the previous tax year. The estimated gross value of new residential <br /> construction is $213,372,800 and commercial construction is $24,479,900. <br /> A total of 233 appeals were filed, as compared to 543 in the previous year.
