BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> This project is to improve Kaiminani Drive from Ahiahi Street to Vicinity of Ane <br /> Keohokalole Highway to enhance traffic and pedestrian safety, and to improve the <br /> drainage situation in the area. The additional $7,555,000 appropriation is needed for <br /> the construction portion. <br /> The Department requests that this bill be waived from the Finance Committee and <br /> proceed directly for Council's review to help expedite this project.
