Kenoi, dated August 15, 2013, requesting the Council's review <br />and confirmation. <br />Comm. 395: AMENDS ORDINANCE NO. 13 -65, AS AMENDED, THE OPERATING <br />(Bill 114) BUDGET FOR THE COUNTY OF HAWAII FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING <br />JUNE 30, 2014 <br />From Finance Director Nancy Crawford, dated August 15, 2013. Appropriates <br />revenues of $12,083 in the Federal Grants - Distracted Driving Project account, and <br />appropriates same to the Distracted Driving account. The State of Transportation <br />Public Affairs - Safe Community Program is providing additional funding of $12,083 <br />to the Hawaii County Police Department's Distracted Driving program, bringing the <br />total grant appropriation to $50,000. The grant funds will be used to reduce the <br />number of drivers using an electronic mobile device while operating a motor vehicle <br />and increase the number of electronic mobile device citations. <br />Comm. 396: AMENDS ORDINANCE NO. 13 -65, AS AMENDED, THE OPERATING <br />(Bill 115) BUDGET FOR THE COUNTY OF HAWAII FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING <br />JUNE 30. 2014 <br />From Finance Director Nancy Crawford, dated August 15, 2013. Appropriates <br />revenues of $56,500 in the Federal Grants - Hawai`i County Police Department <br />(HCPD) Data Grant account, and appropriates same to the HCPD Data Grant account. <br />The State of Transportation Public Affairs - Safe Community Program is providing <br />additional funding of $56,500 to HCPD's Data Grant program, bringing the total grant <br />appropriation to $134,500. The grant funds will be used to allow the HCPD to <br />purchase in- vehicle laptop mounting systems. <br />Comm. 397: AUTHORIZES THE FINANCE DIRECTOR TO SELL REAL PROPERTY IN THE <br />(Res. 165 -13) KAMAKOA NUI WORKFORCE HOUSING COMMUNITY AT WAIKOLOA TO <br />HAWAII ISLAND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION <br />From Finance Director Nancy Crawford, dated August 15, 2013. The Hawaii Island <br />Community Development Corporation (HICDC) is a nonprofit organization whose <br />mission is to provide low and moderate income families with adequate housing and <br />acquire, construct, and provide housing to eligible participants. HICDC has the <br />funding to purchase 10 lots in the Kamakoa Nui Workforce Housing Community and <br />intends to construct homes according to Kamakoa Nui's plans and specifications. <br />
