REQUEST: <br /> To enter into a multi-year lease agreement for three (3) years for one hundred (100) Mobile Data Terminal to <br /> be used in various locations throughout the island. <br /> B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> The Police Department would like to obtain a 3 year lease for one hundred (100) mobile data terminals (MDT) <br /> to be placed in various officer's vehicles throughout the County. Leasing of the MDTs will give the officers <br /> immediate access to the data base to check warrants, TROs, and prior arrest information. Immediate access <br /> to this type of information will also improve safety to the officers who are out patroling.
