BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> During the past 35 years, FM Global has awarded millions of dollars in funding to fire departments and <br /> related agencies worldwide. As a part of their corporate responsibility and to reinforce their philosophy that <br /> the majority of property loss is preventable, the company offers financial support through their Fire <br /> Prevention Grant Program. <br /> This grant was awarded to the Fire Prevention Bureau of the Hawaii Fire Department to purchase two <br /> cameras, lenses, memory cards and flashes. <br /> This bureau is responsible for the review of various building plans and development project proposals in <br /> addition to the enforcement of fire codes and regulations.
