REQUEST: <br /> To accept donation of two Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs), valued at $2,708.00 but, does not <br /> include carrying case. Although these AEDs are not new, they have never been used and were well <br /> maintained. The Philips Onsite HS1 AEDs devices have passed all self tests and will need pads and <br /> batteries in order to be placed in service. Please send a letter of appreciation to: <br /> Hawaii Heart Foundation <br /> P. O. Box 542 <br /> Kailua, HI 96734 <br /> B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> These two AEDs are a donation by the Hawaii Heart Foundation so that they may be placed into the <br /> community for use in an emergency. Donation is to benefit a portion of the Hawaii Fire Department's <br /> mission of increasing the survival rate from community cardiac arrest within the Island of Hawaii.
