JNt;►u�N'' <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> • ,T6 OF NF's-• <br /> BILL NO. 17 8 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 14 30 <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, DIVISION 6, SECTION 24-288 <br /> OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO <br /> FREIGHT LOADING ZONES. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I: <br /> SECTION 1. The purpose of this measure is to add a loading zone in an area where there <br /> is a high concentration of businesses and loading and unloading activities are frequent. <br /> SECTION 2. Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 6, Section 24-288, Schedule 36. Freight <br /> loading zones, subsection (c), South Hilo, of the Hawai`i County Code 1983 (2005 Edition, as <br /> amended), be amended by adding new item and renumbering as required: <br /> ( ) Keawe Street, southwest (mauka) side, from a point sixteen feet northwest <br /> (Hamakua) of Kalakaua Street and extending sixteen feet in the northwesterly <br /> (Hamakua) direction. <br /> SECTION 3. Material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. New material is underscored. <br /> In printing this ordinance, the brackets,bracketed and stricken material and underscoring need not be <br /> included. <br /> SECTION 4. Severability. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof <br /> to any person or circumstance, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or <br /> applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, <br /> and to this end, the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable. <br />
