REQUEST: <br /> Approval to enter into a multi-year agreement with the Boys & Girls Club of the Big Island and Goodwill <br /> Industries of Hawai'i, Inc. to implement the Hawai'i Teen Outreach Program (HITOP). <br /> B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> We have an agreement with the State of Hawaii Department of Health, Maternal and Child Health Branch to <br /> receive federal funds to implement the evidence-based Teen Outreach Program in Hawai'i County. The <br /> Boys & Girls Club and Goodwill Industries of Hawaii, Inc. are non-profit organizations selected through a <br /> RFP process to implement the program. <br /> The funding periods are from 1/1/14 through 9/30/14 and 10/1/14 through 8/31/15.
