STATE OF HAWAII <br /> .• Of E• M;"..-" <br /> BILL NO. 223 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, DIVISION 5, SECTION 24-284, <br /> SCHEDULE 32 OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), <br /> RELATING TO TWO HOUR PARKING AREAS. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br /> SECTION 1. This amendment is being proposed based on a request to convert an <br /> existing Americans with Disabilities Act compliant accessible parking stall with no time limit to an <br /> g p p g <br /> Americans with Disabilities Act compliant accessible parking stall with a two-hour time limit. This <br /> change will encourage parking turnover, which will in effect allow more people to use the parking <br /> stall throughout the day. <br /> SECTION 2. Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 5, Section 24-284, Schedule 32. Two <br /> hour parking areas, Paragraph(c) South Hilo be amended by adding new item and renumbering as <br /> required: <br /> ( ) KILAUEA AVENUE, SOUTHWEST SIDE, ONE STALL FRONTING PARCEL <br /> 2-2-019:052 <br /> SECTION 3. Material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. New material is <br /> underscored. In printing this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed and stricken material and <br /> underscoring need not be included. <br /> SECTION 4. Severability. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof <br /> to any person or circumstance, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or <br /> applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, <br /> and to this end, the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable. <br />
