Kaholo to the Leeward Planning <br /> Commission <br /> EXPLANATION: From Mayor William P. Kenoi, submitting for the Council's <br /> review and confirmation, Mr. Kaholo's nomination. <br /> Mr. Kaholo is a lifeling resident of Kohala, who serviced in the <br /> U.S. armed forces, retiring after 28 years. Other past employers <br /> were the Mauna Lani Resort and the Happuna Prince Hotel. <br /> Mr. Kaholo's community activities include a 4-year term on the <br /> North Kohala Community Development Plan Action Committee, <br /> Preseident of the Kohala National Guard Alumni Associatiohn, <br /> and kupuna advisor of the Malama Pono Ke Kuahiwi A Me Ke <br /> Moana Hunting Club. Not affiliated with any political party, if <br /> confirmed, Mr. Kaholo will fill a vacant term to expire on <br /> December 31, 2017. <br /> Your Committee agreed that Mr. Kaholo is not required to attend <br /> final confirmation at the full Council meeting. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: Confirmation of the appointment of Collin J.
