The <br /> Executive Summary narratives are optional. <br /> Narrative Responsesl <br /> GENERAL <br /> Executive Summary <br /> The Executive Summary is required. Include the objectives and outcomes identified <br /> in the plan and,an evaluation of past performance. <br /> Program Year 5 Action Plan Executive Summary: <br /> COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT(CDBG)PROGRAM <br /> The County of Hawai'i's total 2014 CDBG allocation is $2,677,897.00. The County <br /> also received an additional$99,811.53 of program income from the Residential <br /> Emergency Repair Program (RERP). In addition, the County anticipates receiving <br /> $75,000.00 of additional program income from the RERP for a total $2,852,708.53 of <br /> CDBG monies. To meet the County's five (5) year Consolidated Plan's, Objectives <br /> and Outcomes, the projects listed below will be included in the 2014 Action Plan. <br /> The CDBG project amount for all projects may change to accommodate the actual <br /> amount of grant funds or program income received or if there are any cancelled <br /> project(s) or reprogramming of CDBG funds. In its efforts to expedite and timely <br /> implement its projects, the public is advised that the County of Hawaii may utilize <br /> County funds for the Pahala Fire Station - Wildland Brush Truck Acquisition, and Hilo <br /> Drag Strip Accessibility Compliance projects to incur pre-award cost under the CDBG <br /> program that will not exceed 25% of current CDBG allocation. This is in accordance <br /> with the CDBG regulations 24 CFR 570.200(h) (1), Reimbursement for pre-award <br /> costs. <br /> 2014 CDBG Proiects Amount <br /> Hilo Adult Day Care Center - Site and Infrastructure <br /> Improvements $ 500,000.00 <br /> Pahala Fire Station - Wildland Brush Truck - Acquisition $ 165,000.00 <br /> Hilo Drag Strip,Accessibility Compliance $1,002,258.53 <br /> Habitat for Humanity Affordable Workforce Housing - <br /> Land Acquisition $ 292,000.00 <br /> Residential Emergency Repair Program $ 358,450.00 <br /> Administration, Planning & Fair Housing $ 535,000.00 <br /> Total $2,852,708.53 <br /> Fifth Program Year Action Plan 1 Version 2.0 <br />
