This appropriation will <br /> allow funding for technical transportation and planning consultant assistance to prepare a <br /> downtown Hilo parking and traffic calming plan, and also to prepare a County-wide "Complete <br /> Streets"policy that will address access and mobility for all users of public streets. Bond Ordinance <br /> 12-150 provides $200,000 towards this program, of which $100,000 has been allotted by way of <br /> Ordinance 11-60. <br /> Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance to add the project titled"Downtown Hilo Accessibility and <br /> Mobility Improvement", and to appropriate $100,000 to the Capital Budget.
