BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board of Water Supply is urged to authorize <br /> the acquisition of the land (TMK: 8-2-001:113)that shall be placed in the ownership of the <br /> Board of Water Supply before any application is filed with the IRT, to authorize any financing <br /> mechanism to pay for the materials using bonds or grants from any source to obtain funding, and <br /> complete any other necessary procedure or obtain permits required. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Planning Department is urged to collaborate in <br /> this endeavor by completing the necessary subdivision of the parcel, as appropriate, to meet the <br /> requirements of the DWS at no cost to the land owner to allow the County to acquire the land in <br /> an expeditious manner. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Department of Public Works is urged to <br /> collaborate with DWS to allow road access and issue permits, as necessary, to allow connection <br /> of the proposed well via a buried twelve-inch water main to the Mamalahoa Highway at no cost <br /> to DWS. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Office of Corporation Counsel is urged to <br /> collaborate with the Board of Water Supply and DWS to determine requirements to acquire legal <br /> title to the subdivided parcel for the portion of the parcel required by DWS, obtain a Right-of- <br /> F,ntry for construction, obtain an easement on the private portion of Kiloa Road, if necessary, to <br /> place the water main and pave over the water main with appropriate material. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County of Hawaii shall negotiate with the <br /> property owner of Tax Map Key (3) 8-2-001:113, to acquire said property for the intended <br /> purpose of this resolution. <br /> 4 <br />
