ASV OF Mme` <br /> tPJy� ;Y�i <br /> •��JiQi <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII �• STATE OF HAWAIII <br /> �Ti os•M►'� <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 436 14 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF FUNDS OF A LATER FISCAL <br /> YEAR AND OF MORE THAN ONE FISCAL YEAR FOR A MULTI-YEAR LEASE OF <br /> REAL PROPERTY <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII. <br /> WHEREAS, Section 10-11 of the County Charter requires that any contract, lease or <br /> other obligation requiring payment of funds from the appropriations of a later fiscal year or of <br /> more than one fiscal year be approved by resolution; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Mass Transit Agency presently leases property in the Hilo Iron Works <br /> Building for office use; and <br /> WHEREAS, by extending the lease for an additional two (2) years, the total monthly <br /> rent is not to exceed $3,273.83. The rent is for Unit A-2, Phase I of the Hilo Iron Works <br /> Building, Tax Map Key (3) 2-2-001-030; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the <br /> Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a two (2) year lease agreement for the Mass Transit <br /> Agency for Unit A-2, Phase I of the Hilo Iron Works Building, Tax Map Key <br /> (3) 2-2-001-030. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF <br /> HAWAII that sufficient funds be budgeted in future fiscal years to cover the anticipated <br /> obligations of the County under the terms of the agreement. <br />
