FC-40 August 5, 2014 Bill 274: AMENDS ORDINANCE NO. 14-82, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS AND FINANCING THEREOF FOR THE FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, 2014, TO JUNE 30, 2015 Adds the Public Works Street Light Installations, Island-wide, project for $2 million to the Capital Budget. Funds for the project shall be provided from General Obligation Bonds, Capital Projects Fund - Fund Balance and/or Other Sources ($2 million). Funds would be used to install new streetlights and to upgrade existing streetlights island-wide. Funds for the project shall be provided from General Obligation Bonds, Capital Projects Fund - Fund Balance and/or Other Sources ($1 million). Funds would be used to install new traffic and pedestrian signals, flashing lights, and other traffic related devices. Reference: Comm. 954 Intr. by: Ms. Poindexter Bill 276: AMENDS ORDINANCE NO. 14-82, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS AND FINANCING THEREOF FOR THE FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, 2014, TO JUNE 30, 2015 Adds the Public Works Painted Church Road Safety Improvements project for $142,000 to the Capital Budget. Funds for the project shall be provided from General Obligation Bonds, Capital Projects Fund - Fund Balance and/or Other Sources ($142,000). Funds would be used to increase intersection site distance, eliminate thru traffic stop signs, and relocate utilities.
