Subject Property: The property is a 22,500 square foot parcel and improved with a new <br /> 7,000 square foot steel-framed single-family dwelling. The remainder of the property is <br /> cleared and graveled. According to the applicant, the project site has been in residential <br /> use for more than 80 years. The Department of Public Works-Building Division <br /> commented that the building permit for the single-family structure(B2012-0867H)has <br /> not passed Final Inspection and that the applicant will need to apply for a change in <br /> occupancy permit before Certificate of Occupancy can be obtained. <br /> 11. Surrounding Zoning and Land Uses: The land uses in the area are a mix of residential <br /> and commercial uses. Big Island Candies, zoned CG-20 and Manano Market Place, <br /> zoned CN-20, are located just south of the subject property on Hinano Street. There are <br /> several properties to the west along Manono Street that have been rezoned to CN-20 and <br /> several properties to the east along Laukapu Street that have been rezoned to MCX-20. <br /> -2- <br />
