No. 546-14 <br />PLACE: Council Chambers <br />Kona, Hawai i <br />TIME: 11:14 a.m. <br />Council Chair and Members <br />Hawaii County Council <br />Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br />Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 546-14, reports as follows: <br />Resolution No. 546-14, transmitted by Finance Director Nancy Crawford, via <br />Communication No. 1074 dated September 26, 2014, authorizes the payment of funds of a later <br />fiscal year and of more than one fiscal year for a multi-year lease for mobile data terminals to be <br />used by the Hawaii County Police Department. <br />The resolution authorizes the Mayor to enter into a three-year lease agreement for 100 mobile data <br />terminals at an approximate cost of $180,000 per year. <br />There was no discussion on this measure. <br />Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 546-14, and <br />recommends its adoption. <br />sc <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />COMMITTEE ON FINANCE <br />VALERIE T.
