(3) Prevention and education programs. <br />(4) Corrections and community corrections programs. <br />(5) Drug treatment programs. <br />(6) Planning, evaluation, and technology improvement <br />programs. <br />(7) Crime victim and witness programs. <br />WHEREAS, the Governor has designated Agency to serve <br />as Hawaii's office for administering the federal financial <br />assistance available under the Act; <br />WHEREAS, Grantee, as an agency of the County of <br />Hawaii, is qualified to receive funds available to Hawaii under <br />the Act and its implementing regulations, contained in the <br />Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) State <br />Solicitation, and 28 C.F.R. Chapter 1, Part 66, and has applied <br />to Agency for receipt of the same as a subgrantee; <br />WHEREAS, Agency has reviewed Grantee's application for <br />funds, and is satisfied that all of the requirements of the Act <br />and its respective implementing regulations have been satisfied <br />and that Grantee is capable of using the federal funds requested <br />appropriately; <br />2 (rev. 12/2013) <br />r r <br />
