These funds, <br />which are being re -appropriated from a lapsed CIP account, will be used to purchase <br />equipment in order to complete the children's playground at the zoo. <br />Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance to add the project titled "Pana'ewa Zoo and Gardens" <br />and to appropriate $136,294.07 to the Capital Budget for this project. The Department of <br />Parks and Recreation requests that this bill be waived from the Finance Committee, and <br />be placed on the March 18, 2015 Council Agenda in order to expedite this project.
