The State Department of <br />Land and Natural Resources is providing federally derived funds to the Department of <br />Parks and Recreation to construct a paved multi-purpose path along Hilo Bayfront. <br />Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance to add the project titled "Hilo Bayfront Trails" and to <br />appropriate $345,743 to the Capital Budget for this project. The Department of Parks and <br />Recreation requests that this bill be waived from the Finance Committee, and be placed <br />on the March 18, 2015 Council Agenda in order to expedite this project.
