Miura <br />Deputy Director <br />iag <br />A resolution is being introduced by the Council to transfer $10,000 from the Clerk - <br />Council Services Contingency Relief account (District 9) to the Solid Waste Fund. These <br />funds will be used to provide a grant to Recycle Hawaii to support, initiate and facilitate <br />Zero Waste programs at District 9 public and charter schools. <br />Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating this <br />$10,000 to the Department of Environmental Management's Recycling Programs-Cty <br />OCE account within the Solid Waste Fund. <br />The Department of Environmental Management requests that this bill be handled as a <br />companion bill to Council member Margaret Wille's resolution to transfer the funds from <br />the Council Services — Contingency Relief Account.
