Miura <br />Deputy Director <br />�.a <br />s <br />S <br />A <br />The State Department of Housing and Urban Development is providing an additional <br />$500,000 to the Office of Housing and Community Development's Housing Voucher <br />Program. The funds will be used for payment of rental assistance for eligible participants <br />of the program. In the current fiscal year's budget, $13,337,528 is appropriated for this <br />grant. <br />Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating the <br />additional funds into the Office of Housing and Community Development's Voucher <br />Rental Subsidies account, and bringing the total grant appropriation to $13,837,528. <br />The Office of Housing and Community Development is requesting that this bill be <br />waived from the Finance Committee review, and be placed on the June 3, 2015 Council <br />Agenda in order to complete this transaction during the current fiscal year.
