STATE OF HAWAI I <br /> °` BILL NO. 81 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, DIVISION 5, OF THE <br /> HAWAI`I COUNTY CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO <br /> PARKING <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br /> SECTION 1. The purpose of this amendment is to address concerns regarding vehicles <br /> parking adjacent to an intersection and blocking residential driveways. <br /> SECTION 2. Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 5, Section 24-280, Schedule 28,No <br /> parking at anytime, subsection (c) South Hilo, of the Hawai`i County code 1983 (2005 edition, as <br /> amended), is amended by adding new items and renumbering as required, as follows: <br /> ( ) Mohouli Street, northwest (Hamakua) side, from a point one hundred <br /> eighty-eight feet northeast of Kumukoa Street to a point ninety-five feet <br /> southwest of Kumukoa Street. <br /> ( ) Mohouli Street, southeast (Puna) side, from a point one hundred feet <br /> southwest of Kumuko`a Street to a point two hundred feet northeast of <br /> Kumuko`a Street. <br /> SECTION 3. Material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. New material is <br /> underscored. In printing this ordinance,the brackets, bracketed and stricken material and <br /> underscoring need not be included. <br /> SECTION 4. Severability. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof <br /> to any person or circumstance, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or <br /> applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or <br /> application, and to this end, the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable. <br />
