COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII ORDINANCE NO. ILS 89 BILL NO. 81 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, DIVISION 5, OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO PARKING BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: SECTION 1. The purpose of this amendment is to address concerns regarding vehicles parking adjacent to an intersection and blocking residential driveways. SECTION 2. Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 5, Section 24-280, Schedule 28, No parking at anytime, subsection (c) South Hilo, of the Hawaii County code 1983 (2005 edition, as amended), is amended by adding new items and renumbering as required, as follows: ( ) Mohouli Street, northwest (Hamdkua) side, from a point one hundred eighty-eight feet northeast of Kumukoa Street to a point ninety-five feet southwest of Kumukoa Street. ( ) Mohouli Street southeast (Puna) side, from a point one hundred feet southwest of Kumuko`a Street to a voint two hundred feet northeast of Kumuko`a Street. SECTION 3. Material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. New material is underscored. In printing this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed and stricken material and underscoring need not be included. SECTION 4. Severability. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof to any person or circumstance, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to this end, the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable.
