BACKGROUND INFORMATION <br /> 3. May 18,2005: Effective date of Ordinance No. 05-74, which amended the zoning <br /> district classification from Agricultural (A-1a) and Resort—Hotel (V-1.25) to Multiple- <br /> Family Residential (RM-2.5). The original applicant was Kona Hale Ali`i, LLC. (refer <br /> to exhibit in amendment application). <br /> 4. June 29, 2005: Approval date of the consolidation and resubdivision of <br /> TMKs 7-5-009:067 and 7-5-009:054 to create the subject, 6.27-acre parcel. <br /> 5. March 13,2006: Issuance date of Final Plan Approval for a 92-Unit, multi-family <br /> condominium complex. <br /> 6. August 20,2013: Kukui Development, LLC acquires subject property. <br /> 7. October 15, 2013: Administrative extension of time granted to May 18. 2015 to comply <br /> with Condition C of Ordinance No. 05-74. <br /> 8. November 12, 2013: Re-issuance of Final Plan Approval for a 92-unit residential <br /> apartment complex. <br /> 9. August 20, 2014: Issuance of NPDES permit from the State Department of Health and <br /> grading permit from the Department of Public Works-Engineering Division <br /> 10. November 24, 2014: Issuance of building permits for 44 Condominium Units(see <br /> exhibits in application). <br /> 11. Condition Status Report: The applicant has submitted an updated status report for the <br /> conditions of Ordinance No. 05-74. (Planning Department Exhibit 2—Condition <br /> Status Report dated July 17, 2015 with Exhibits) <br /> DESCRIPTION OF STATE AND COUNTY PLANS <br /> 12. State Land Use: Urban. <br /> 13. County Zoning: Multiple Family Residential—2,500-square foot(RM-2.5). <br /> 14. GP LUPAG Map: Medium Density Urban. <br /> 15. Kona Community Development Plan: The subject parcel falls within the Kona CDP <br /> Urban Area and within the Kailua Village Redevelopment Regional Center TOD area. <br /> 16. Kailua Village Special District: The subject property is situated within the Kailua <br /> Village Special District and requires a review before the Kailua Village Design <br /> Commission (KVDC).
