The property is located along the east(makai) side of Lyman <br /> Springs Road, and also bordering along the north side of Kaumana Drive directly across of the <br /> Kaumana Estates Subdivision in Ponahawai, South Hilo, Hawai`i. <br /> The Commission concurs with the following Planning Director's reasons for recommending <br /> favorable consideration of the request: <br /> The applicants are requesting to change the zoning district from Agricultural—20 <br /> acres (A-20a) to Family Agricultural—3 acres (FA-3a) for 25 acres of land in order to <br /> subdivide the property into five parcels.
