The purpose of this amendment is to relocate an existing speed limit sign <br /> that is in the way of a property owner's future driveway. The relocation of the sign requires <br /> updating the code to match adjustments in the field. <br /> SECTION 2. Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 1, Section 24-257, Schedule 5, 35 mile <br /> per hour limit, subsection (c), South Hilo, of the Hawai`i County Code 1983 (2005 edition, as <br /> amended), is amended by revising existing item (1 1) as follows: <br /> (1 1) Kawailani Street, from [mauka-terminus] a point one hundred sixty- <br /> five feet east of Makani Circle to [Kin<>`©le-Stree4]Highway_ 11. <br /> SECTION 3. Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 1, Section 24-255, Schedule 3, 25 mile per <br /> hour limit, subsection (c). South Hilo, of the Hawai`i County Code 1983 (2005 edition, as <br /> amended). is amended by adding the following and renumbering as required: <br /> Kawailani Street, from its western terminus to apoint one hundred <br /> sixty-five feet east_ofMakani_Circle. <br /> SECTION 4. Material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. New material is <br /> underscored. In printing this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed and stricken material and <br /> underscoring need not be included. <br /> SECTION 5. Severability. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof <br /> to any person or circumstance, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or <br />
