This appropriation reflects the reallocation of Program Year (PY) <br /> 2014 HOME funds from the County of Maui to the County of Hawaii by the State's <br /> Hawai`i Housing Finance and Development Corporation(HHFDC). <br /> The funds will be utilized to construct the Mohouli Heights Senior Neighborhood Project, <br /> Phase II, which consists of 30 one-bedroom, one-bath units for the elderly in Hilo, <br /> Hawai`i. <br /> The Office of Housing and Community Development requests that this bill be waived <br /> from the Finance Committee and be placed on the December 2, 2015 Council Agenda in <br /> order to expedite the utilization of these funds.
