FC -21 January 5, 2016 Bill 125: AMENDS ORDINANCE NO. 15-58, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS AND FINANCING THEREOF FOR THE FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, 2015, TO JUNE 30, 2016 Adds the Parks and Recreation Honomu Park New Playground Equipment - County project for $500,000 to the Capital Budget. Funds for this project shall be provided from General Obligation Bonds, Capital Projects Fund - Fund Balance and/or Other Sources ($500,000). Funds would be used for the construction of new playground equipment at Honomu Park. Reference: Comm. 603 Intr. by: Ms. Poindexter Bill 126: AMENDS CHAPTER 19, ARTICLE 7, SECTION 19-57 AND ADDS NEW SECTIONS TO CHAPTER 19, ARTICLE 8, OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO EXEMPTIONS FROM REAL PROPERTY TAX BY WAY OF DEDICATION OF LAND FOR AGRICULTURAL USE Phases out the non -dedicated agricultural use assessment program and replaces that program with a short-term dedicated agricultural use assessment program and an agriculturally zoned vacant land program.
