REQUEST: <br /> We are requesting the Council's permission to increase the total amount of federal funds accepted for the <br /> "FY 2014 [sic] Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assitance Grant"from $160,000 to $168,618. <br /> The revenue account affected is 3309.14 JAG Specialized Sexual Assault. <br /> B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> With Ordinance No. 15-57 County Council approved the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney to appropriate <br /> funds totalling $160,000 for fiscal year 2016 for the continueation of the Specialized Sexual Assault Unit. <br /> The amount of funds available for the "FY 2014 [sic] Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assitance Grant" has <br /> been increased and offered to the County of Hawaii for use in the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney's <br /> current Specialized Sexual Assault Unit. <br /> SIGNED: DATE: <br /> Department Head <br />
