COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br />BILL NO. 145 <br />(Draft 2) <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24 (TRAFFIC SCHEDULE), OF THE HAWAII <br />COUNTY CODE 1983 (1995 EDITION), RELATING TO TRAFFIC REGULATIONS. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br />SECTION 1. Chapter 24, article 10, division 2, section 24-267, schedule 15 (One way <br />streets), subsection (c), South Hilo, item (20), of the Hawaii County Code (1995 edition), is <br />amended to read as follows: <br />(20) Waianuenue Avenue. All vehicular traffic shall move in the makai direction from <br />Komohana Street to [Kamehameha Avenue] I aimana Street between the hours of <br />7:15 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. on school days. <br />SECTION 2. Chapter 24, article 10, division 2, section 24-271, schedule 19 (Prohibited <br />left tum areas), subsection (c) South Hilo, of the Hawaii County Code (1995 edition), is amended <br />by deleting the following itcm: <br />[(8) Waianuenue Avenue, for the mauka bound traffic entering the Hilo Intermediate <br />School, and for the makai bound traffic entering the Hilo High School parking lot <br />and the track field between the hours of 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on school days <br />only.] <br />SECTION 3. Chapter 24, article 10, division 2, section 24-271, schedule 19 (Prohibited <br />left tum areas), subsection (c) South Hilo, of the Hawaii County Code (1995 edition), is amended <br />by adding the following to be appropriately numbered and to read as follows: <br />
