This appropriation reflects funding allocations received <br /> from the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations for the Program Year(PY) 2016. No <br /> County General Funds are involved. The bill sets up the proper accounts to receive and expend <br /> the WIOA funds. <br /> The Office of Housing and Community Development (OHCD) indicates that the funds will be <br /> utilized to assist adults, dislocated workers and youth by providing services that will train <br /> individuals to increase employment, retention, earnings, skills and literacy.
