Ntv of..... <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> %NTt <br /> BILL NO. 186 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, DIVISION 1, <br /> SECTION 24-255 AND SECTION 24-257 OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 (2005 <br /> EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO SPEED LIMITS. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br /> SECTION 1. The purpose of this amendment is to allow for the increase of the existing <br /> 25 miles per hour speed limit to 35 miles per hour on Ainaloa Boulevard, pursuant to a traffic <br /> study that justified the revisions. <br /> SECTION 2. Chapter 24, article 10, division 1, section 24-255, schedule 3, 25 mile per <br /> hour limit, subsection (g) of the Hawai`i County Code 1983 (2005 edition, as amended), is <br /> amended by deleting item 1 and renumbering as required: <br /> [(1) Ainaloa Boulevard, from Highway 130 to Stardust Drive.] <br /> SECTION 3. Chapter 24, article 10, division 1, section 24-257, schedule 5, 35 <br /> mile per hour limit, subsection (g) of the Hawai`i County Code 1983 (2005 edition, as <br /> amended), is amended by adding the new item below and renumbering as required: <br /> ( ) Ainaloa Boulevard, from Highway 130 to Stardust Drive. <br /> SECTION 4. Material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. New material is <br /> underscored. In printing this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed and stricken material and <br /> underscoring need not be included. <br />
