These funds will be used to purchase and install solar flashing lights designated <br /> for use at the new pedestrian crosswalk on Kuakini Highway. <br /> Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating this <br /> $20,000 to the Department of Public Works, Traffic Division's Signals and Street Lights, <br /> Highway Materials account within the Highway Fund. <br /> The Department of Public Works is requesting that this bill be waived from the Finance <br /> Committee and be placed on the April 20, 2016 Council Agenda.
