BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> Concurrent resolution is in process to request funding from Clerk Council Services-Contingency Relief <br /> account to the Transfer to Highway Funds account for$20,000 to provide funds to install a solar powered <br /> flashing yellow lights at the new pedestrian crosswalk on Kuakini Highway. <br /> We are requesting these funds to be appropriated in the Highway Fund. <br /> Since there is a concurrent resolution to request funding transfer to the Highway Fund, the Department of <br /> Public Works Traffic Division would like to request a waiver from the Finance Committee and have this bill <br /> heard at the Council meeting scheduled for April 20, 2016. <br /> Funding to be spent prior to June 30, 2016. <br /> SIGNED: DATE: 3/90/1b <br /> /yeartmemnt Head <br /> i <br />
