The State of Hawai`i <br /> Department of Land and Natural Resources awarded the County of Hawai`i Department of <br /> Parks and Recreation $165,667 to construct a paved multi-purpose pathway along Hilo <br /> Bayfront. <br /> Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance to add the project titled "Hilo Bayfront Trails" and to <br /> appropriate $165,667 to the Capital Budget for this project. <br /> The Department of Parks and Recreation is requesting this bill to be waived from the <br /> Finance Committee and be placed on the July 19, 2016 Council agenda.
