Ikeda, of Council District 2 to the Hawai'i <br /> County Salary Commission. Mrs. Ikeda is a 60-year resident of Hawai'i. In 2005, she <br /> retired from the State of Hawaii Department of Education where she was employed as <br /> a School Administrative Services Assistant. Mrs. Ikeda returned to work for the DOE on <br /> contract from 2006 - 2009. <br /> Her community service includes past membership with the Ke Ana Lahana Public <br /> Charter School, past secretary of Kaumana School PTA, and past State President of <br /> the Hawaii School Office Services Association. She is presently a member of the Holy <br /> Apostles Church. Mrs. Ikeda states that she is a member of the Democratic Party.
