These funds are to be used to reimburse Office of the <br /> Prosecuting Attorney staff for overtime incurred researching charges identified by the <br /> HCJDC with overdue dispositions. <br /> Enclosed is a resolution to authorize the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the <br /> Hawaii Department of the Attorney General for this grant. Also enclosed is a bill for an <br /> ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating these funds. <br /> The Office of the Prosecuting Attorney requests that this resolution and bill be waived <br /> from the Finance Committee and be placed on the October 5, 2016 Council agenda in <br /> order to expedite this important project.
