RULES OF PROCEDURE <br /> OF THE COUNCIL OF THE <br /> COUNTY 7F HAWAII <br /> Rule 1 <br /> COUNCIL MEETINGS <br /> 1. The council shall hold regular meetings for the <br /> transaction of business in the County Councilroom on the first and <br /> third Wednesday of each month or on the following day if such <br /> <br /> Wednesday be a public holiday. <br /> 2. Special meetings may be called at any time by the council <br /> chairperson or a majority of the council in accordance with the <br /> provision of Section 13-20(c) of the County Charter. <br /> 3. The council chairperson shall be authorized to schedule <br /> or reschedule the time, date and/or subject matter of its regular <br /> or special meetings and to publish public notice upon the giving <br /> of siz (6) days notice to the public and councilmembers. The <br /> chairperson shall promptly notify all councilmembers and the <br /> county clerk by written memorandum as to the scheduling or <br /> rescheduling of regular or special meetings. <br /> <br />
