Paleka, Jr., dated October 28, 2016. <br /> Comm. 1180: REQUESTS A DISCUSSION AND REPORT FROM THE ENVIRONMENTAL <br /> MANAGEMENT DIRECTOR OR DESIGNEE ON ZERO WASTE EFFORTS <br /> From Council Member Margaret Wille, dated October 21, 2016, requesting a report <br /> on efforts to implement Res. 525-14, recommendations included in the 2009 "Zero <br /> Waste Implementation Plan for the County of Hawai`i," and the Aloha+ Challenge. <br /> ORDER OF RESOLUTIONS <br /> Res. 712-16: REQUESTS A ONE-YEAR EXTENSION FOR THE HAWAII ISLAND <br /> PACKAGING SUSTAINABILITY INITIATIVE STAKEHOLDERS TASK FORCE <br /> If extended, this task force would be comprised of two council members, as selected <br /> by current task force members Paleka and Wille, several community organizations <br /> and business interests, and the departments of Environmental Management and <br /> Research and Development.
