This appointment was effective at 12:00 noon on Monday, December 5, <br /> 2016. <br /> Ms. Kamaka served as the Human Resource Manager for the County of Hawai'i's Department of <br /> Health & Safety Division for over 15 years. Ms. Kamaka has over 24 years of experience in an <br /> administrative capacity in various positions held. She received a BA degree in Psychology with a <br /> Minor in Occupational Safety and Health in 2006 at the University of Hawai'i at Hilo. Her resume is <br /> attached for your information. <br /> Ms. Kamaka will serve a term co-terminus with my tenure, which will end on December 7, 2020. <br /> Pursuant to Rule 5(6)(g) of the Rules of Procedure and Organization of the Council of the County of <br /> Hawai'i, we respectfully request a waiver of this nomination through committee so that it may be <br /> considered by the full County Council on January 5, 2017.
