No. 318 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> Kailua-Kona, Hawai`i <br /> TIME: 10:37 a.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation,to which was referred <br /> Communication No. 318, reports as follows: <br /> Communication No. 318, transmitted by Mayor Harry Kim, dated May 31, 2017, nominates <br /> Antonio Gaspar of District 7 to the Veterans Advisory Committee. <br /> Mr. Gaspar served in the United States Army from 1969-1971 and retired from the Hawai`i Army <br /> National Guard after more than 30 years of service. Mr. Gaspar also retired from Enterprise Holdings, <br /> where he was a maintenance tech for approximately 12 years. Mr. Gaspar volunteers with various <br /> veteran organizations, especially with the American Legion and the Big Island Retired Military <br /> Association (BIRMA).
