STATE OF HAWAII <br /> BILL NO. 58 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, DIVISION 1, OF THE <br /> HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 (2016 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO <br /> SPEED LIMITS <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br /> SECTION 1. The purpose of this amendment is increase the speed limit along South <br /> Kopua Road. <br /> SECTION 2. Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 1, Section 24-255, Schedule 3, 25 mile <br /> per hour limit, subsection (g), Puna, of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (2016 Edition, as <br /> amended), is amended by repealing the following listing: <br /> • [Seuepua Road] <br /> • SECTION 3. Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 1, Section 24-257, Schedule 5, 35 mile <br /> per hour limit, subsection (g), Puna, of the Hawai`i County Code 1983 (2016 Edition, as <br /> amended), is amended by adding a new listing to be appropriately inserted and to read as <br /> follows: <br /> • South Kopua Road. <br /> SECTION 4. Material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. New material is <br /> underscored. In printing this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed and stricken material and <br /> underscoring need not be included. <br /> SECTION 5. Severability. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof <br /> to any person or circumstance, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or <br /> applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or <br /> application, and to this end,the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable. <br />
