COUNTY OF HAWAI'Iy�"�� STATE OF HAWAI'I • • . . • ••�j.��; ori M;:''�� •'•�TE OF•N�'�=�• BILL NO. 45 ORDINANCE NO. 1.7 Si AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, DIVISION 5, HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 (2016 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO PARKING. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: SECTION 1. The purpose of this amendment is to restrict parking along the specified portions of Haihai Street to address safety concerns and keep shoulder areas there clear for motorists to pullover as required during emergencies. SECTION 2. Chapter 24, article 10, division 5, section 24-280, schedule 28,"No parking at anytime," subsection (c), South Hilo, Hawaii County Code 1983 (2016 Edition, as Amended), is amended by amending the listing for Haihai Street to read as follows: "• Haihai Street, [4,4amaku id-e;-be- ee he-mit-ra €--and-tet-ef-the Hilo-Munieipal-Golf Ganui se] from `Iwalani Street to Kilauea Avenue." SECTION 3. Material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. New material is underscored. In-printing this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed and stricken material and underscoring need not be included. SECTION 4. Severability. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof to any person or circumstance, is held invalid, the invalidity does not affect other provisions or applications of the ordinance that can be giveneffect without the invalid provision or application, and to this end the provisions of this ordinance are severable. SECTION 5. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
