The purpose of this amendment is to restrict parking along the specified <br /> portions of Haihai Street to address safety concerns and keep shoulder areas there clear for <br /> motorists to pullover as required during emergencies. <br /> SECTION 2. Chapter 24, article 10, division 5, section 24-280, schedule 28,"No <br /> parking at anytime," subsection (c), South Hilo, Hawaii County Code 1983 (2016 Edition, as <br /> Amended), is amended by amending the listing for Haihai Street to read as follows: <br /> "• Haihai Street, [4,4amaku id-e;-be- ee he-mit-ra €--and-tet-ef-the <br /> Hilo-Munieipal-Golf Ganui se] from `Iwalani Street to Kilauea <br /> Avenue." <br /> SECTION 3. Material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. New material is <br /> underscored. In-printing this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed and stricken material and <br /> underscoring need not be included. <br /> SECTION 4. Severability. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof <br /> to any person or circumstance, is held invalid, the invalidity does not affect other provisions or <br /> applications of the ordinance that can be giveneffect without the invalid provision or <br /> application, and to this end the provisions of this ordinance are severable. <br /> SECTION 5.
