Kanuha, Council Member for Council District 7—Central Kona <br /> SUBJECT: A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE OFFICE OF THE LEGISLATIVE <br /> AUDITOR TO CONDUCT A PERFORMANCE AUDIT OF THE <br /> DEPARTMENT OF WATER SUPPLY TO ENSURE THE DEPARTMENT <br /> HAS ADEQUATE CONTINGENCY PLANS TO GUARANTEE <br /> SUFFICIENT WATER SUPPLY TO CUSTOMERS AT ALL TIMES, <br /> INCLUDING DURING A DISRUPTION OF DEEP WELL OPERATIONS. <br /> Attached please find the above referenced resolution requesting that the Legislative Auditor <br /> conduct a performance audit of the Department of Water Supply to ensure the Department has <br /> adequate contingency plans to guarantee sufficient water supply to customers at all times, <br /> including during a disruption of deep well operations. <br /> We are requesting that this resolution be introduced in the appropriate committee on September <br /> 19, 2017, in Kona. <br /> Thank you. <br /> <R25. 2:81- »7 <br /> comm.
