Her appointment will be effective October 2, 2017. Ms. Sako has been with the County's Department of Finance for the past 17 years. She has previously served as the Department's Director, as well as its Deputy Director. Ms. Sako received her Master of Accounting Science Degree from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana and her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Computer Science/Accounting from Wartburg College. Her resume is attached for your information. Ms. Sako will serve a term co-terminus with my tenure, which will end on December 7, 2020. Thank you for your favorable consideration of this appointment.
